Black:
-Technically, there is no such thing as a traditional Belgian stout, but Allagash went ahead and made one anyway. In creating the beer, we took the aspects we loved in Belgian beers and used them to craft a stout. We brew Allagash Black with 2-row barley, torrified wheat, oats, roasted barley, chocolate malt, black malt and hop with Northern Brewer and Glacier. A generous portion of dark caramelized candi sugar produces a hint of raisin in the finished beer. The addition of oats lends Black a silky mouthfeel, which is enhanced by rich flavors of coffee and dark chocolate. 7.5% ABV

Curieux:
-First brewed back in 2004, Curieux was Allagash's initial foray into barrel aging. To make Curieux, they take their Tripel and let it age in bourbon barrels for seven weeks. Once that time is up, they take the beer out of our cold cellars and blend it back with a portion of fresh Tripel. The resulting rich, golden ale features smooth notes of coconut, vanilla, and a hint of bourbon. 11% ABV

Saison Gratis:
-Saison Gratis roams Allagash's brewery before landing in kegs. Once it's brewed, it heads to their coolship, a large rectangular pan, where hopping occurs while the wort cools. It then lingers with a saison yeast strain while open fermenting in one of their foudres. Fully rested and ready to drink, fruit notes of orange, pineapple, and clove complement the beer’s tartness and hops. 7.2% ABV

Cultive:
-This wheat beer was aged on local, NH peaches that had previously spent time with Farm to Face, another tart peach beer Allagash brews. Some of Cultivé’s many aromas include peach, nectarine, lemon, and spicy tropical notes. This is one tart, peachy, and subtly sweet treat of a beer. 5.4% ABV

The NH Burgers and Brews festival a one day event looking to showcase local chefs and craft brewers from New Hampshire and its neighbors. It's an opportunity for brewers and restaurateurs alike to showcase the passion they put into every product they sell. The festival is organized and hosted by the Dowds' Country Inn and Latham House Tavern, and 100% of ticket sales will be donated in support of David's House. The festival will host breweries and restaurants from New Hampshire and Vermont. Each guest will get to sample burger creations from our restaurant partners, as well as receive a tasting glass to sample all the delicious craft beers provided by our brewing partners. There will be live music, raffles, and a panel of judges voting on a variety of categories - from "Best Burger" to "Wildest Creation."

The festival will run from 1:00 PM until 5:00 PM on Sunday, September 23rd, 2018. Gates open at 12:30 PM. Make sure to buy your ticket early so you don't miss out on this fun event!
